Week One

 Happy Thursday, 

As a new TRAIN scholar, the first week was a bit disorienting and overwhelming, but after meeting with Josh and Chris, I reoriented myself and found a specific subject to research- Microbiology. As one of my aspiring degree paths, obtaining laboratory techniques pertinent to Microbiology would be more than exciting. I've missed the Microbiology labs :') So, I reached out to one of my favorite past Professors and worked out a day to meet and discuss research ideas and expectations. We will meet in a DB lab tomorrow, and I am excited to get the ball rolling and have fun in this program!
