Bio

My name is Cassandra Naomi Palacios, 

This is my second semester in the TRAIN program! I am a biochemistry major at Phoenix College, and I plan to transfer to ASU in the fall as an aspiring double major in pharmacology and microbiology. 

My all-time favorite aspects of Biology and chemistry involve the cellular level. Learning hematology, molecular mechanisms, immunology, microbiology, cellular transport, etc., has been enriching and addicting. In this program, I aim to hone and nurture the skills necessary for success in a research career. 

I aspire to complete a doctorate and continue academics through certificates or associates in various aspects of the STEM field. My dream is to be a lifelong biology student.
